4800 Westshore Apartments

I just have to write a review about what a smooth and quick process Katie provided to help me move in! The entire leasing staff immediately greeted me with such welcoming and kind attitudes. Katie helped me with any questions I had on my application process as well as showed me multiple tours which really helped me get a sense of what my space would be like, and even showed me the space I am now moving into! I am so excited to move in and to have such an amazing leasing staff alongside me. Thanks again Katie and everyone!

My rent is 1500 and it’s 10 mins to downtown Tampa and 20 minutes to dtsp. Move in process was quick and easy and maintenance requests were serviced quickly. Office ppl are very nice too. It’s not perfect and kinda smells like weed but cmon it’s 1500 for a one bedroom in south Tampa so I’m not expecting the Ritz Carlton. The only thing that actually annoys me is that they force you to pay $50 a month for cable television but the cheap rent sort of cancels that out lol

Severe cockroach problem since we moved into 4800 Westshore in June. We request pest control every week and it is not helping. We clean our place as instructed by pest control and it is not helping. Take your rent payments else where. I have other reasons to rate this apartment low but the roaches are at the top of the list. Also, please note the other recent reviews. The majority of them gave 5 stars & said “I toured here”. They don’t live here. The most recent 5 star of an actual resident is an employee of the property.

I am writing this review while the construction workers are power sanding the outside stairwell. My apartment walls are shaking and I can't hear myself think. I work remotely for a finance company and its impossible for me to take client calls at home Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm. I have complained to management several times but they are clueless when apartments will be gutted. The new leasing company is gutting apartments when tenants move out. We residents find out about repairs when we are woken up by the deafening sounds of hammers, saws, and the constant yelling of repairmen. We receive absolutely no notice when apartments will be repaired. Not even a phone call or a knock on the door. Some of my neighbors are active duty military and work at nights but are unable to sleep during the day because of the constant racket. How deplorable to our servicemen and women! Management is as worthless as a screen door on a submarine. They might be better suited as a prison guard due to their complete lack of customer service and empathy. 9 out of 10 times they don't answer the phone when I am calling to report a safety incident. They don't care about their current tenants and they lure new renters in with a $500 gift card that many new residents never receive. Drive around this place during the day and take a glance at the several locations around the premises that are littered with construction equipment. Ladders, bags of concrete, tarps, and buckets are thrown in resident parking spots like they belong there. My stairwell has been covered with bits of insulation, nails, and drywall for over a week. Yesterday, I tripped and fell over an extension cord that was draped over the stairs and the walk way with no caution sign. I'm sure that my attorney would love to hear that! Over half of the units are vacant for good reason. Several of my disgruntled neighbors have moved out of this dump because their stories are just as bad or worse than mine. I am counting down the days until I move from this living nightmare. My outdated college apartment was leaps and bounds better than this overpriced Section 8 like complex. Do yourself a favor- take my advice to heart and don't be tricked by these slumlord swindlers! There are plenty of beautiful, quiet, and safe apartments in the Tampa area, however, Infinity Westshore isn't one of them!

This is by far the worst living experience I’ve ever had. Don’t be charmed by the great location and large apartments. The staff and management is incompetent and unable to manage their construction projects (which seem to never end) nor provide effective customer service. We had to have the fire sprinklers replaced recently. I understand that this was done for my safety and was required by local authorities. What I don’t understand is why I had holes in my ceiling for two months, and why, when the ceiling was patched up, the crew destroyed my apartment and the management has yet to compensate me for this. I returned from a work trip to find spackle on everything, my couch taken apart, stains all over the carpet, and even urine in my toilet!! First off, they did not send someone to clean until the next day. This is most likely because the original cleaning person refused to come back after seeing the mess that was made in my neighbor’s apartment. Then, management never contacted me. I had to call to get answers. So far, all the property manager, Steve can say is that corporate has to sort this out. Getting ahold of corporate is extremely difficult, and the office does not in any way update me on the progress. I’ve tried to put in maintenance requests to get some of the issues in my apartment fixed. They marked the request completed. I had to call to ask why, and they said, “the crew has to do it. They’ll be there tomorrow.” Surprise, surprise, they still haven’t come. I understand that some former tenants may have had small issues that caused them to give a negative review. However, you can see from the photos I’ve provided that this is no small issue. THIS is what I’m paying $1,500 a month to live in. And management doesn’t care because I’ve already withdrawn my request to renew my lease. Not only have they disabled comments on their Facebook, but they’ve blocked me for trying to post the photos of the damage that they refuse to address. That is the type of customer service they provide - they try to hide the issue instead of addressing it. Before anyone from IW tries to comment on this review with a pre-fabricated PR statement about how they are “sorry” and “looking into the issue,” let me be clear that I have been back and forth with the office about this for almost a month now. They are just waiting for me to move out in June. Do yourself a favor, and move somewhere else. This isn’t an isolated incident. There are far better places in the area that are less expensive and not managed by Greystar.
